So we finally got Cody into a ear specialist and what do you know Cody needs to have tubes put in his ears. He has some hearing loss but the Dr. says his hearing will be normal after he gets the tubes put in. He also has some scare tissue in both ears but not enough to cause any problems. One good thing is Cody is not allergic to any dairy products, so we can go back to eating anything we want.
I don't know when his surgery is going to be but I will keep you updated.

Been there done that. Last time Coleton went to the doctor he still had them in, and they placed them when he was 7 months old. They should have fallen out by now, but no one seems to be concerned. Good luck let me know!!!
Sad to hear that he's been struggling with ear problems - that can be so miserable! But I think it's great news that he shouldn't have any lasting damage after he gets the tubes put in. Let me know if you need anything when he has the surgery. Are you guys coming swimming next wednesday morning?? We're planning on being out there by 10. Hope to see you, too!

I'm glad you figured out what was wrong and that it can be fixed.
Poor little guy. At least now you know what can help him to get better. I hope that everything goes well and that he is finally over all of the ear infections. Good-luck.
