Poor Cody

So this Tuesday we woke up at 4am to Cody throwing up and he was burning up. I took his temperature and he had a fever of 104.3. I gave him meditation and his temp. went down and he finally feel back to sleep. At 7am I called and got a dr. appointment at 1:40pm with his dr. By 10am Cody fever was back up 104.5 so I got the kids in the car and started for the dr and I called on the way. we were able to see a different dr. when we got their. They gave him more meditation and for the first time since December I fond a dr that really listen to all the symptoms Cody has had. Cody has had a ear infection every month since December and two throat infections.
So this Dr. found that he has an miled ear and throat infection again. I asked him if all these infection have not been bad why was he having a hight fever? He said he thought Cody had a bigger infection that we have not found. He asked me a lot of questions about Cody when he was a baby and about the last few months. He asked if Cody has been having headaches with the infections and I said yes, I thought he had them because of the fevers. the Dr started tapping on Cody's Cheek done areas and Cody started crying. so it turns out that he has a bad sinus infection. The dr also thinks it is cased by an allergy to milk, so we have to take him off all milk products for two weeks see if he get better then put him back on milk to see if it all comes back. Meanwhile he has an appointment with an ear , noise, throat dr to make sure something else is not wrong with him.
Cody is starting to feel better he still has a fever still complains about his ears, throat and noise area hurting him, but he is back to being Cody, running around and getting in trouble.

Nick lost his teeth

So Nick lost his tooth the night before Easter. He told me that the Tooth Fairy thought she would have the night off because the Easter Bunny would be going into peoples houses. But Nick tricked her because he lost his tooth. Nick then became worried that the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny would bump into each other and that they would get mad and not leave him anything. Well we told him that the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny liked each other and that they would be happy to see each other. Anyways he got a dollar and all his Easter stuff. He was Happy.

The Easter Bunny came

I think the Easter Bunny liked his notes and carrots, he sure did leave a lot of eggs for the boys to find. Nick and Cody had a blast finding the eggs the bunny left for them. They also love all the candy they got to eat and 30 mins. later mom and dad wished the Easter Bunny did not leave candy. I think the Easter Bunny should leave carrots or something.

Nick's note

Nick decided that he was going to leave a note for the Easter Bunny. It was so cute. He could not wait for the Easter Bunny to come.

We got to touch the sting rays and other fish. Cody would of got in the pool if we would let him and Nick needed a lot of encouragement to get him to touch one.

We went to the Shark Reef with the Cub Scouts. Chad and I are the Wolf Den leaders. Anyways the boys had a lot of fun.

Cody and black eyes

Cody got this black eye by running down the hall way and tripping over a foot stool and the stool flip up and landed on his eye.

He got this one by running with a pencil and he fell and the eraser end of the pencil fond his eye and split it open. The Dr. had to glue the cut close.

Nick got glasses.

Nick started getting head acts in late Nov. of 2007. His head acts got to the point that they would not go away with medicine, so we took him to the Dr. She decided to do an vision test and low and behold Nick has horrible eye sight. I felt so bad for Nick, I had no clue that he could not see. Now he has his glasses and no more head acts. He is doing a lot better in school know too.
